On Wednesday, Dec. 18, at 6 p.m., the Amp Coalition will host an educational Telephone Town Hall to provide an overview of The Amp project to date and share upcoming activity related to next steps for the project. Nashville residents and businesses are encouraged to participate in the Telephone Town Hall particularly to learn more about the series of Amp project design public meetings set for January 13, 14, 15 and 16. Callers will also learn how they can get involved in transit-related activities and The Amp project in particular.
The Telephone Town Hall will last about an hour and will include beginning remarks by Mayor Karl Dean, followed by an opportunity for questions and answers with Mark Sturtevant, Metro Transit Authority Amp project director; Mike Schatzlein, AmpYes Coalition chairman; Ralph Schulz, AmpYes Coalition vice chairman; Bert Mathews, chairman of the TAMT Inc.; and Ed Cole, executive director of the Transit Alliance of Middle Tennessee.
